Many ways to enjoy a HOT SUMMER
Eating chilled vegitables.
The cucumbers and eggplants r shining like jewel in water with ice...
The shop "Akimoto" is selling pickled vegetables.
They put light pickled vegetables (Asazuke) into iced water and sell those vegetables in front of the shop during hot summer season.
So many people who pass by the street can see this and if want they buy and eat there.
I choose eggplant cuz I've never seen iced eggplant that is selling like this but cucumber.
...It was 100% cold pickled eggplant...
So this is good refreshment for people who got tired from strolling in Kamakura in this hot weather!
